Natural Image Statistics Density Estimation Toolbox (NISDET)


The Natural Image Statistics Density Estimation Toolbox is a very flexible toolbox for fitting natural image data with Lp-spherically and Lp-nested symmetric distributions. We think of the NISDET as a MATLAB toolbox which is always under development. This means that certain parts of code accessible by the functionality of NISDET might not be written yet. It also means that we do not provide downward compability. However, if certain versions of NISDET have been used in a publication, we will provide a freeze of the toolbox used for the respective experiments.


NISDET 1.1 requires the lightspeed and fastfit toolboxes by Tom Minka. The toolboxes must be addded to the Matlab path. NISDET 1.0 only requires the lightspeed toolbox.
